Dr. N. Karunakaran
Dr. N. Karunakaran, Head of the PG Department of Economics and Vice-Principal, EK Nayanar Memorial Govt. College, Elerithattu, Kasaragod, Kerala holds a Doctorate Degree in Economics from Kannur University, Kerala; Post Graduation in Economics from Calicut University; Post Graduation in Philosophy from Pondicherry Central University. He also has B. Ed and M. Ed Degree. He has 25 years of teaching experience at Under Graduate and Post Graduate level in Govt. colleges and DIETs and has presented papers in National and International seminars, conferences and workshops and is a recipient of International Outstanding Faculty award, International Best Educationist Award, International Best Education Excellence Award and Bharat Excellence Award. He is a life member of Agricultural Economics Research Association, New Delhi, Institute of Economics and Social Development, Jharkhand, Kerala Economics Association and Editorial Board member of various international journals and organized various seminars, workshops and talks. He is an approved Ph. D Guide in Economics and published books and a number of articles in the reputed national and international journals and edited books. Presently he is the chairman of the Board of Examiners (PG Applied Economics) and member of UG Economics Board of studies of the Kannur University.
