Dr. Rohaiza Rokis
ROHAIZA ROKIS, Ph.D, Associate Professor Doctor, Department of Sociology and Anthropology, Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences,International Islamic University Malaysia. I graduated with B.HSc in Sociology and Anthropology from the International Islamic University Malaysia. At the Master’s level, I earned M.Sc in Applied Social Research from the University of Stirling, Scotland, and a Ph.D in Sociology from the University of Bristol, Britain. I specialises in sociology of work and has an expertise in research methodologies. My research interest includes gender studies; women and employment. My works were published as articles and book chapters, both in ISI and Scopus indexed such as Asian Journal of Women Studies and Asian Social Science, as well as in other numerous reviewed journals. I teaches Sociology and currently an Associate Professor and Reader at the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, International Islamic University Malaysia.
